Cardiff Council C2C - Pilot
Informational services DVD, used to communicate and teach
both internally and to the tax payers about various of the
Council’s services
This ground breaking pilot project foresees the arrival of
proper "E Government" communications between Councils and
their consumers throughout Wales in the years to come. Short
interactive films were made explaining a diverse range of
the Council's services, including the Recycling scheme,
Housing Benefit, Disability Sport opportunities and
explaining the Planning Application Process – all done in a
very intuitively accessible format.
Comparisons between this mode of communication compare
extremely favourably with other more traditional methods of
communication such as broadcast and print media – costs are
reduced exponentially, and both the quality and reach of the
message are enhanced considerably.
This pilot will be of particular interest to;
Other Public and Government bodies.
Those needing to reach a broad audience quickly, and cost
effectively.
People who have responsibility for branding and corporate

Bodies interested in “E Government” possibilities.
